An update to your pony story. An 11-year-old girl's horse, whose death in Long Prairie, Minn., was first blamed on a hunter and then on a "heinous act" of mutilation, actually died of natural causes and then was scavenged by one or more animals.
That's the conclusion of the Todd County Sheriff's Office and the veterinarian on the case.
